Got a call from someone claiming to be from 3, which is the network I’m using right now. They said they could help me cut costs on my phone plan, but then asked how much I'm currently paying! I told them they should already have that info if they’re really from 3. I ended the call, but they tried ringing me again straight away. I've blocked the number since then.

Got a call from someone saying they were with O2, and they kicked off with “Hello Madam” - right away I knew it was dodgy since they didn’t have any of my info. Ended up just hanging up and blocking the number.

It seems like picking up just tells scammers the number is live and they keep pestering. Honestly, you'd expect the police to care more but they just don't seem bothered about stopping these annoying calls. Such a letdown.
