Picked up the phone but all I could hear was random sounds and no one speaking. After about 6 seconds, I just ended the call. No idea who it was.

Got a call earlier from someone claiming to be BT security saying there was a problem with my line and they needed to update some channel number through my computer. Obviously, I didn’t let it get past that point - sounded like a total BT scam to me.

I got a call from a woman with an accent I think was from the subcontinent, saying she was from BT Openreach and I needed to check my router cause of some issue (it was fine though). When I asked her what's this all about, she just told me to go to hell. Felt a bit sorry for her, maybe she'd been having a rough day already.
