Then, he proceeded to ask me which bank account I'd prefer the funds to be sent to. At that moment, I chose not to divulge my bank details but pressed him for the amount he claimed I was due. He reiterated it was indeed £3,500. I dismissed his claim as nonsense, and then he abruptly ended the call. I want to warn others that this is a highly dubious scam attempt, so please be wary.
