I received a rather suspicious phone call from a chap claiming to be from BT's tech support, supposedly addressing some problems with my internet connection. Honestly, he gave off a dodgy vibe! It felt like he was fishing for my information, likely with some nefarious intent to compromise my computer. I can assure you, this isn’t a legitimate number for BT Openreach!

got two calls from this number today, both times I didn’t answer. each time it just hangs up after a couple of seconds. quite odd really.

I’m not familiar with anyone from Brecon, Wales, and since they didn’t leave a voicemail, I ended up blocking the number. If they don’t leave a message, I’m just blocking all such calls nowadays.

Got a call from a guy, sounded Asian, saying he was from BT Openreach. He told me there was an issue with my internet speed. When I mentioned I was too busy to be on my computer, he just said he figured I’d say that and then hung up on me. Pretty odd!

Sounds like an Asian call centre pretending to be from BT Openreach. I cut the call straight away. This number seems dodgy. Definitely block it if they ring you more than once.
