Rang me earlier, and as soon as I picked up, they hung up. Typical spam call, if you ask me!

The caller never mentioned they worked for a bank, just something about consumer rights. They actually knew my name and where I lived, which was a bit creepy. Then they wanted my birthdate, but I told them it wasn’t any of their concern. After that, they just cut the call.

Got a call from 01873901002, they claimed to be calling from the UK about a car accident I supposedly had. Then later they rang again asking what kind of car I drive and said I could claim for housing damage. Turns out, it’s all a scam and the call centre is actually based in India, even though they use the address 100 London Road to look legit. Definitely not from the UK!

This guy from overseas kept calling me loads, asking if I was the driver of a car. It got a bit annoying after a while.

Got a call from some lady overseas on my mobile, she asked how I was. When I questioned her about where she was calling from, she just ended the call abruptly. I've blocked the number now. My landline’s got a call blocker, so no worries there.

I was dealing with an outdated address and needed to inquire about some consumer matters. However, they requested personal details before answering my questions. I’ve since requested to be taken off their list, but the calls just keep coming in. As a result, I’ve gone ahead and blocked their number.

I received a phone call from Abergavenny, of all places! The person on the other end claimed I'd been entered into a draw for a whopping £10,000. Apparently, simply picking up the phone qualified me for an additional monthly competition, which I found rather strange. He seemed to know an unsettling amount about me! Then, just when I thought it couldn't get any weirder, he requested my bank details! At that point, I decided it was best to end the conversation abruptly. Quite the dodgy business, if you ask me!

The phone chimed at precisely 14:36. Not recognising the number, I decided to pick it up and simply uttered "hello". At the other end, there was a vague mumbling that made little sense to me, and before I knew it, the line went dead!

On the afternoon of November 22nd, I got a call from a lady with an Asian accent chatting about Amazon. When I joked about the Amazon river in Brazil, she just hung up straight away. Then at around 2:12pm, I saw a missed call with a message to press 3 for a callback. I tried it but noone answered on the other side. Pretty strange!

I’ve gotten calls from this number with an automated voice saying there’s fraud on my bank account. It’s happened twice in the last fortnight. I used to get these kinds of calls before the pandemic, but they stopped for a couple of years and now they’re back again. Usually, I just hang up as I don’t have time to deal with these nonsense calls. Banks don’t contact customers like this.

On Monday, the 2nd of November, I received a phone call from an Asian woman going on about Amazon. I decided it was best to hang up. Then, I got a message stating I had been called by a number ending in 1412 on the 22nd of November. It prompted me to press 3 to return the call. After I did that, though, I was met with silence-no one was there to pick up!

Today, I got a call out of the blue saying my credit card had been charged twice - once for £600 and another time for £1000, both overseas transactions. They didn’t even bother with a proper intro, just jumped straight into "your card’s been used". Quite unsettling really.

My landline buzzed earlier but I just ignored it and let it go to voicemail. Later I looked the number up online and loads of folks were saying it was spam. These days I never pick up unless it’s someone I recognise, too many dodgy calls around.

On 21st November 2022, around 2:17 pm, I got a robotic call claiming to be from “Bank Security.” Oddly enough, I’d already had one like it just a couple of hours earlier, but the number was different that time. Pretty clear it’s a scam, no doubt about it.

I received a call from this number inquiring about personal details like my home address. When I probed further and asked where they were calling from, the person on the line claimed to be from 'Choice Coarse'-though their accent sounded rather dodgy, to say the least. I pressed them on the reason for the call since I hadn't asked for any information, and just like that, they abruptly hung up on me. Quite the suspicious interaction, if you ask me!

I've been receiving calls from a magazine that are nothing more than an automated spiel. When you pick up, it starts with what seems like a genuine human voice, but soon it devolves into a pre-recorded message. Quite dodgy, if you ask me! Does anyone happen to know which magazine this is? I'm registered with the Telephone Preference Service and really ought to be exempt from these annoying calls.
