as soon as i picked up the phone they just hung up on me. reckon i'll be getting heaps more calls like this now.

Got a call from Santander branch earlier, they were just making sure about an appointment I had set up with them. So yup, real person on the line and totally legit. Glad this time I actually answered instead of just blocking like I usually do :)
