Got a robo call telling me my bank card had been used for a couple of transactions with places I’ve never dealt with before, one thing maybe Amazon, not too sure on the other. The message was all vague, didn’t even say which bank. Then it told me to press 1 to confirm or 2 to talk to someone. I honestly don’t understand why anyone would believe this rubbish but sadly I reckon some folks, especially the elderly, might get caught out. If I had actually spoken to someone, I’m sure they’d try to get me to give out all my banking info.
