Got a call saying it was from my bank about some dodgy transactions, but it was just a taped message and never mentioned which bank it was. They wanted me to ring a different number, but I didn’t bother. Our home number’s on the directory and registered with the Telephone Preference Service anyway. With all that, I think it’s quite risky to trust this kind of call.
