Got a call from 01873722088 about 10 hours ago, nothing said and then they just cut off. Weird silent call.

Total scam call, just trying to rip you off.

This morning at about 8:50, i got a call just like the ones they mentioned (i’d already had three of these yesterday). They started with all the usual questions, so i thought i’d humour ’em for a bit. After a while, they tried getting me to open a website with an IP address, but as soon as i asked where they were calling from, the line just went dead. The call kept cutting out too, probably because it was some call centre in India, so it was tricky to understand much. Honestly, i’m hoping they ring back soon - if i keep them tied up, maybe it stops them hassling someone else.

Some hackers broke into Veronica's internet and then connected me to a bloke with an American accent, I ended up just hanging up.

I got a call where a man just said “hello” and then just ended it, pretty much like the last one.

Got a robo call pretending to be from BT, saying my phone line was being used by hackers or something dodgy. It told me to stay on the line as they wanted to ask questions. After that, a woman picked up saying “hello, hello” all weird. Once I told them straight up “you’re a scam,” they just cut me off. Bet if I’d sounded worried, they’d have kept going with their nonsense. Absolute rubbish!
