I got a call from some woman who claimed there was an accident I was involved in. She asked when it took place, but I wasn’t certain so I asked her what info she had. As soon as I said that, she just ended the call. The lady’s voice was quite polished, but I could tell right away it was a total scam!

Got a robocall from the tax office claiming I owed some cash, so I just blocked the number straight away.

Got a call from this bloke called Eric, claiming I had debts to creditors, which isn’t true at all. He kept trying to push the call forward saying he could give me a loan to clear my supposed debts. I told him I don’t owe a penny to anyone and don’t need any money. Then he just hung up after saying something like, “Alright, have a nice day, sorry if I wasted your time. Bye now, love you, mwah.” Honestly, it was quite unsettling.

I got two calls, the first one just ended straight away, but the second was from an Indian guy claiming to be from the Citizens Advice Bureau based in Truro.
