I picked up the call, but they hung up straightaway.

Had a call this morning from this number. The person on the other end said they were from o2 and were keen to discuss setting me up with a SIM-only deal at a reduced rate. No thanks, I’m not interested! Feels a bit dodgy, if you ask me!

They kept ringing me but I never answered. So I tried calling back this morning and it told me to press 1 if I wanted to stop marketing calls. Not sure if that will really help though. They were pushing some kind of sim-only contract deals, but I’m honestly not convinced they’re reliable.

Loads of different numbers have been ringing me, all from the same lot asking for Amy (can't quite catch the last name). When I told them a few times that they've got the wrong person, they started asking if it was my phone and what my name was - obviously I wouldn’t tell them. I’ve stopped picking up calls from numbers I don’t know and just block them straight away. Now, I get about one or two calls every day from new unknown numbers.

This number seems to be checking which lines are actually answered, sending silent calls probly for scam schemes like those dodgy "Loans" and "eLearning" offers.
