The guy was really pushy, kept yelling "free lotto tickets" even after I said no thanks. At the end, he swore and said something like "I've got a f#cking here". Got a call from some lottery scheme claiming I won 20 free tickets, weirdly they knew where I lived before but not my new place. Obviously, I never gave them my current address, and I’m pretty certain they’d have tried to get my bank info. I just told them I don't do gambling and ended the call. It’s baffling that the police can’t seem to catch these fraudsters.

My partner answered and told them off a couple of times, yet the caller just kept going. These calls keep coming for this person. Bit unsettling after we just had our bank account hacked recently.

Someone called me from 01872 306928 claiming to be Joy Ferguson. She somehow knew my address and said they were giving free tickets for loyal lottery players. Then she tried to get me to hand over my bank details to pay less for tickets in Feb, Mar, and April. When I refused, she got a bit aggressive, insisting I'd have a direct debit guarantee and that they couldn’t take money without my full details. Funny, she just said she needed my account number and sort code to set up a direct debit - sounded dodgy to me! Glad I checked the number online and have blocked it now.

Just like the rest, I got a message saying I was picked for 10 free National Lottery entries. They asked for my sort code and account details to get 3 months of cheaper National Lottery tickets. I rang the National Lottery to check and they told me it wasn’t from them and to watch out as it’s a scam. I’ve blocked the number now.

I picked up the call and this friendly bloke on the other end said I’d won 18 free lucky dip prizes. Gave him my address and sure enough, a couple weeks later, 18 parcels turned up. Then when I got home from work, I found my TV had vanished, along with my iPad, bike from the shed, and even my car was missing. Figured I’d treat myself and upgraded everything after hitting £120,000 on one of those lucky dips. Cheers!

I phoned my fiancé and the bloke was quite polite, but he didn’t get why he was asked to confirm his address. He said he wasn’t part of the UK National Lottery. I’ve since heard this is a scam. In the end, he hung up after we blasted the telly sound down the phone!
