Someone rang saying they were from TalkTalk, claiming my line was messed up and about to get cut off! They told me to press 1 or 2 to fix it. The lady had an accent, but her English was clear and she seemed pretty convincing.

Someone called claiming to be from BT Openreach saying they were going to disconnect our internet for nearly a month. The call didn’t go anywhere once my partner started giving them a piece of her mind, and then they shouted back “Screw you woman! Screw you!” Unless that’s how BT deals with people, I reckon it was a scam.
