This number 01871050791 kept ringing me about some tax issue and that there’s a file against me. It went on for months and honestly, I just hung up every time. They’re really persistent, bit of a scam if you ask me. They even said my national insurance was frozen, which is impossible. Best thing is to block the number and definitely don’t press 1 when it asks you to.

Got a robotic call telling me a writ has been issued against me for tax dodging and that I should press 1. I hung up straight away - seems like just another scam to me. The voice sounded American, but the number showed as from Castlebay, Scotland, which just doesn’t add up.
