I recently received a call from this number. A chap with a thick Irish accent informed me that I was owed a refund for sick pay that I apparently hadn’t claimed. I decided to end the conversation right then and there. I have a strong suspicion that this is the same individual who contacted me a few weeks back with a different sort of "offer." I've since blocked this number from my phone to avoid further annoyance. To make matters worse, he even knew my name! It's absolutely baffling who could possibly be sharing our mobile numbers with these nuisances. I rarely use my phone number and it's only been shared with close friends and family.

I got a call from these lot saying stuff about rubbish and when i asked questions and told them to stop calling me, they start shouting at me! How on earth do these idiots get our numbers when there's so much talk about DPA laws here? Honestly, the FCA should step in and the watchdog needs to sort this out quickly. These people deserve to be nicked!

Got a call earlier claiming I had some payout from a PIP, but they refused to say which bank was involved or how they even found my number. When I asked a few more questions, they suddenly got rude and just hung up on me.

Got two calls in just five minutes, I never pick up on numbers I'm not familiar with so I let them ring out. I've blocked the number now but I'm sure they'll try another one, like all the 60+ numbers I've already blocked on my mobile. It's so frustrating, I wish my mates could actually reach me sometimes instead of these annoying folk wasting my time.

Got a call from somewhere in Bicester, no one I know from there so I picked up just to check. Said it was some POI reclaim company or something, the guy sounded really hurried, nearly gasping for breath, which made me wary straight away. For once I was civil but told him even if I did have money owed, I wasn’t bothered. I’m no millionaire or anything but there’s bigger things in life than worrying about cash and possibly getting scammed.

Got a call from a bloke who couldn’t say my last name properly, didn’t even tell me who he was. When I said I wasn’t interested he got all rude and said he’d keep ringing me anyway!

Keeps ringing but I don’t pick up, I never answer calls from numbers I don’t know or that look unfamiliar! I’d recommend anyone just blocks it or simply ignores the call.

Some bloke rang, said he was Chris from SRC refunds, kept pestering me about when my partner would be about as she was supposedly owed a refund. He knew her name but wouldn't give me any other info. Kept talking over me just asking when she’d be free. I told him I sort out all our money stuff and we weren’t expecting any refund at all, then he just hung up but said he’d keep ringing until he got to chat with her.

This bloke claimed he was from some refund agency, saying someone owed me 17 grand. I was like, yeah right mate. Then he started naming every bank under the sun, asking if it was one of them. I said no, I only ever had a Post Office account, lol. Then he mentioned my postcode, so I told him well, they’ve got my address already, so they can get in touch directly. He said I wasn’t being cooperative, so I told him he should be embarrassed and asked if his mum knows what rubbish he’s up to, then I just hung up.

I received calls from an exceedingly insistent chap who kept urging me to reclaim some additional PPI. No matter how many times I politely requested he remove my name from his list-at least ten times-he simply wouldn’t budge. I highly recommend blocking this number.

I received a rather odd communication from a PPI firm, SRS or something akin to that name. They were asserting that I haven't made a claim for PPI, though to be honest, I’ve never had any since I've been self-employed. I've gone ahead and reported them to the Telephone Preference Service for good measure.
