Got a call from a Bicester number, no one spoke so I just stayed on the line till they ended it. My phone marked it as spam. Definitely putting them straight in the block list.

i think this site is really helpful for everyone. today at about 10 in the morning, this number rang me and when I picked up they just ended the call right away. usually, from what ive dealt with before, this means they might call back live later on. big thanks to everyone sharing info here!

about 10 mins ago i got a call from a woman claiming to be with bt saying there was an issue with my phone line. i said im not a bt customer but she kept pushing it, so eventually i told her i knew she was trying to scam me.

Got a call from this number claiming there was an issue with my BT broadband, wanted to fix it by turning on my PC remotely. I actually work at BT and knew for a fact there was no problem at all. I humoured them for a bit but then told them to shove their “tech support” where the sun don’t shine. If you get a call like this, just hang up or tell them off straight away.

There was no sound when I picked up, but from what I’ve gone through before, that kind of silence usually means a scam.

I got a call from a bloke saying there was an issue with my internet. Told him to jog on straight away, it’s a total scam.

I got a few calls from an Asian bloke who said there was an issue with my BT line and asked if he could take a look.

i picked up the phone and at first, no one said anything. then a guy with an asian accent told me there was a problem with my internet. i told him i don’t believe that’s true and if there was an issue, i’d call my provider directly. i told him to stop wasting his time and hang up. total scam. it’s so annoying these calls keep coming even when you’re on the do not call list and your number’s unlisted.

I got a call from a woman with an Asian accent claiming she was calling from BT about my internet connection being faulty. When I questioned where she got my number since I’m not even a BT customer, she just hung up on me. Watch out, this sounds like a scam to me.
