So, got a call from 01869506892 claiming to be from BT tech support. They said some foreign IPs were sneaking into our internet and doing dodgy stuff using our info. Plus, they said our internet usage was through the roof. They told me I'd need to fix something on my PC. I asked if they were sure our ISP was BT, but they said it didn’t matter. When I told them it sounded like a scam, they just hung up. I've blocked the number since then.

Got a call from 01869506892 claiming to be with BT Tech Support. They said they’d been alerted about suspicious activity on my internet, saying foreign IPs were using my connection for illegal stuff and wanted to warn me. They said I’d need to do something on my PC, but when I asked if my provider was actually BT, they replied it didn’t matter. They also mentioned there was a lot of unusual traffic running through my internet. When I told them it sounded like a scam, they just ended the call. I’ve since blocked the number.
