I got a call from someone saying they were from the telephone preference service. They kept pushing me for my debit card expiry date, saying it wasn’t for a payment but just to confirm my identity. They even threatened that if I didn’t share the details, I’d be bombarded with scam calls the very next day. The caller was really rude and wouldn’t accept a simple no, so I had to just hang up to make them stop.
