I received a call from a chap with an Indian accent claiming to be a technician from BT. I thought it was rather timely since I’ve been mulling over the idea of applying for a position there. I asked him if he could vouch for the company as a good employer, you know, whether the pay was decent and such. He seemed a bit taken aback, asked me to repeat myself, and after a moment of awkward silence, he just hung up! Quite odd, really.
