Honestly, just hang up straight away - it’s all scammers calling these days!

Got a call from this number, and because it looked local, I picked up. A woman said she was calling from the Crime Awareness Team, saying they were setting up appointments to visit your house and show a gadget you could link to your phone that would call police or ambulance if needed. She then asked if morning or afternoon was better for the appointment, but I said no thanks and she hung up right away. I noticed she sounded like she was working at home because I could hear a kid playing in the background.
