01865954098 Felt relieved when the caller, claiming to be Christian from medical alert, actually reached me. He asked a question I didn’t answer properly about who I was, then acted like I’d replied. Ended up hanging up straight away - another scam. I’m fed up with these calls all the time and only picking up my landline now because of my jab appointment. Loads of vulnerable folks must be getting these as well, so please don’t send any cash to them.

They rang me today and left a voicemail asking me to get in touch to order a free fall alert gadget, but mentioned there’d be a ‘tiny monthly charge’. Yeah, no way I’m going to bother calling back.

Someone phoned my elderly mum claiming to be from Oxford and talked about people in the care home having health problems. They wouldn’t say which organisation they were representing and it seemed like they were trying to push Covid vaccines. Fortunately, mum had her jab just this Tuesday and ended the call quickly.

It’s one of those automated calls with a voice pretending to be “Christian from Medical Alert.” He stops after every question like he’s waiting for a reply but whatever you say, the recording carries on regardless. I didn’t bother sticking around to hear what they were pushing and just hung up.

I usually don’t pick up calls from unfamiliar numbers. Honestly, glad I came across your review - it's crazy how sneaky and heartless that company is. They really should face some legal consequences for what they’re doing.

Apparently a medical alert firm claiming to offer a free govt supported emergency necklace for £39 a month. Total scam obviously but seriously, it’s so easy for older folks to get caught out by this sort of thing.

The guy spoke clearly, said it was about my medical alert and asked if I owned the house. When I asked why that mattered, he just replied ‘oh good, we’ve got the right person’. Same thing when I asked why he was calling - I was clueless what he was talking about, so I just ended the call. Felt like a dodgy call, really unsafe!

I received a phone call today around 5:50 PM from an individual claiming to be Christian, representing a service called 'Medical Alert' supposedly operating out of Oxfordshire. He insisted I verify my name, status as a homeowner, and health details - which I have no intention of doing for any unsolicited callers. I requested more information about his identity and the company he purported to represent, but he simply ploughed on, talking over me and dismissing my queries. He came across as rather impolite, and while some others on different reporting platforms speculate he might be a programmed voice, he did sound quite lively to me. In any case, I decided to hang up, block the number, and post this for the benefit of others. Stay vigilant!

Got a scam call, my mum handed me the phone since I work in financial crime. It seemed quite convincing at first, but then I noticed it was recording without actually hearing any replies. I kept the call going to see what would happen, got transferred to another person, stayed quiet and they just ended the call. Feels like they might try to get bank info or redirect to an expensive premium number. Pretty concerning - should be blocked for sure. This number is linked as well. I received a phone call today from a chap claiming to be Christian, purporting to represent a 'Medical Alert' service. He was quite insistent on verifying my identity, asking about my homeownership, health issues, and the like. Even when I tried to interject, he just carried on rambling. While some folks suggested it might be a pre-recorded message, I felt it seemed too interactive for that. As usual, I refrained from sharing any personal information and insisted he provide more clarity about himself. Eventually, I grew weary of his incessant chatter and ended the call. I've now added his number to my block list, along with this dubious company.

Someone rang claiming to be Christian from "Medical Alert" and insisted I verify a couple of bits of information. He went on about needing to speak with the property owner, even though I didn’t engage with him. Somebody called pretending to be from a Medical Alert Company offering a free pendant with a SIM that links to a call centre in emergencies. They wouldn’t say how they got my number (it’s unlisted) or clearly explain why they were ringing, just vague stuff about having medical or mobility problems before. Feels like a scam to trick you into paying for an overpriced subscription to something likely bogus. If you really need this kind of thing, best to speak to your GP.

After seeing the other replies about this number, the same thing happened to me too. They asked if I owned the house, then tried to sell me a free medical alert pendant. Sounded like a decent bloke giving away free medical alert gadgets - at first I thought it was someone real, not a robot message. But when I kept asking who he was, he just carried on like I answered his stuff. Ended up just hanging up. Bit worrying really cos loads of us are still waiting for our COVID jab invites, so any talk about medical things makes you pay extra attention.

A bloke called himself from Medical Health and Pendant Centre, telling me about the advantages of a Medical Pendant Alert device. He mentioned the gadget was worth £400 but supposedly free, though there was a monthly charge of £39 afterwards. I told him straight away I wouldn’t be making any decisions from a cold call like that and asked him to send details through the post before hanging up. Reading other comments here, I now realise this was likely a dodgy call and quite possibly a scam.

They claimed to know about my existing health issues. I tried to cut in but they just kept going. Then they asked if what they said was right, then went quiet. When I asked who was calling the voice just said, "Yeah, that’s right!" Sounds like a recorded message giving you time to respond. Kept bringing up Medical Alert System. Definitely just a pointless scam trying to waste time.

I recall seeing something regarding Oxford-perhaps they’re trying to ride the wave of vaccine popularity? Not to mention, they were offering some sort of complimentary medical alert gadget. When I returned the call, I was met with a recorded message stating that they were conducting a market research survey. It’s quite baffling that if you’re registered with the Telephone Preference Service, these companies still don’t seem to verify this. I’ve filed a complaint against this outfit, listed elsewhere as Gamma Telecom Holdings Ltd, and urged the ICO to look into their practices.

Received an unfamiliar call regarding a complimentary medical alert system. After responding to their initial inquiries, it became clear it was just a pre-recorded message. So, I promptly hung up!

Got another annoying call, bothering me again. Like always, I’ll be reporting it.

Someone called me claiming it was about a government project, but it definitely felt like a scam. They kept pushing for personal details and sounded really dodgy. Be careful, this doesn’t seem legit!

So, someone told me I’d been in a terrible car crash and got awful injuries, but I honestly didn’t even realise it happened.

Got a voicemail from a bloke who just wouldn’t shut up, letin’ gaps like he was expectin’ a reply, but clearly no one was there. He acted like he heard you, rambling on about some medical emergency or whatnot. Something felt off, so I hung up quick. Save yourself the hassle, don’t even bother shouting back!

No answer, just a silent ring.

Got a call about dodgy loft insulation that we never had. They claimed to be from the Eco Advisory Line and wanted to check out our loft. But then I spotted it was a recorded message with awkward silences, trying to sound like a proper caller. They said they’d put me through to a mate, but I got fed up with the rubbish and just hung up.

Somebody called saying they was checking on an accident report. I told them they must have dialled the wrong number. Then they started trying to sell me a cheaper alarm pendant. I just hung up and blocked the caller.

Got a call from someone claiming I'd just had loft insulation fitted (which I hadn’t) and that it would cause condensation, saying I needed a survey. It was one of those recorded messages with pauses where you’re supposed to say yes or no. Clearly a scam, but I decided to mess about and see if I could actually speak to a real person. When it finally tried to put me through, the call just dropped. Classic.

Said he was returnin my call about loft insulation like I asked, but it was total rubbish. Wouldn’t stop jawing the whole time and then acted like he was busy just so he could listen in. Then he just cut me off. Total con, no doubt about it.

A posh sounding bloke kept interrupting me while I tried to ask questions. Said something about a medical pendant. I just ended the call. Looking back, it was probably one of those annoying automated messages.

They told me id just got loft insulation fitted and needed to send someone to check it. Heard the same from a few others here. Just hung up straight away, its definitely a scam.

This number called my 88 year old dad who recently lost my mum just before Christmas. Luckily I answered the phone. The man said something about a free pendant worth over £400 but after messing about a bit he suddenly said it would be £39.99 every month. What a total rip off to target an elderly person like that. The moment he brought up the monthly fee I put the phone down and searched the number online. Glad I didn’t let him scam my dad.

They acted like a genuine caller about loft insulation. When I mentioned it was a scam, the person quickly ended the call.

I think it was a scam. Someone rang saying our loft insulation was unsafe, but then said it wasn’t urgent and that they just hadn’t checked it for ages. The whole thing sounded like a recorded message. I couldn’t get a word in, never got their company name, no idea who they were after or what address they had. Definitely felt dodgy. SCAM ALERT for sure.

Thankfully I’ve got call blocking on, but after looking at the comments I see it’s just a scam. Do these scammers ever stop? It’s crazy how they can’t seem to be tracked down.

Got a call with a sales script warning me my loft insulation is a hazard. Everything felt really dodgy. The caller sounded like a robot acting like it was new to the job to cover up pauses while waiting for me to answer. They claimed they were calling me back - they absolutely weren't. Also said my loft was dangerous, which it definitely isn't.

Got a cheeky call about insulation, asked for the company name but they wouldn’t say anythin about the benefits or ask for my dob or anything, then just hung up on me. What a plonker!

I accidentally answered the phone. The bloke said he was ringing to warn me my loft insulation might make my house unsafe because of damp and condensation issues. Even when I told him I’ve got a loft conversion, he kept talking over me. So I just ended the call.

They said it was from the Digital research centre in Oxford. The bloke, 'Cristian', was obviously just a pre-recorded voice because he didn’t stop to let me answer properly - just kept blabbering. Funny enough, just before the call I’d been listening to Radio 4's 'You and Yours' talking about Covid vaccine scams, which made me even more suspicious.

I received a rather intrusive call from the Energy Advisory Service, supposedly acting on the government's behalf. It was regarding loft insulation and the mould issues that, quite frankly, I've already heard about in the news! The caller seemed rather dismissive of my comments, and there were frequent interruptions during the conversation. It gave me the impression that it might have been an automated system. In any case, this call was unsolicited and rather bothersome.

I received a call from what seems to be an obsolete VoIP number, which then sent me a voice message via email. It completely baffles me how they managed to obtain this number-most likely through some random dialling technique. The recorded message was along the lines of "... in relation to Life Insurance and Final Expense Insurance...". They’ve mentioned they’ll be ringing me again, but honestly, it just feels like another spam attempt.

Thought he was offering me a complimentary medical alert system for a monthly fee of £40. Not exactly the most discreet con, if you ask me.

I’ve received calls from this number before, and they obviously already had my name and some details regarding my medical background. When they prompted me to verify my identity, I turned the tables and inquired about who they were. Unfortunately, the system interpreted my question as an affirmation, and it continued to prattle on about a complimentary alert system funded by the government. I didn’t hesitate and promptly blocked the number.

Got a call from a bloke named Christian claiming to be from some Medical Alert service on 01865 954098. I got a bit iffy when I asked something and he just didn’t reply - felt like a robotic pre-recorded thing. At first, he said the medical alert device you wear on your neck or belt would be free, but then he slipped in that it’d be £39.99 every month. Definitely fishy if you ask me.

I got a call from a bloke claiming he was with some Medical Alert Centre. He asked if I had any health issues and then launched into this long spiel about how I could get a medical alert pendant for free. But then he said it would cost me £39.99 for medical assistance if I ever needed help using it. I tried to cut him off a few times, but he just kept going, so I ended up just hanging up.

Scammers targeting elderly and disabled folks with fake medical schemes are seriously disgusting. They prey on the vulnerable, and honestly, they deserve the harshest punishment possible - like being shot twice over just to be certain. It's sick how low some will stoop to trick others.

I received a call from this number and it was rather curious, to say the least. An automated voice that sounded very formal started spouting utter nonsense! They rang me not once, but twice. Strangely, the recording only kicked in once I responded verbally. It’s clearly yet another tiresome scam attempt. How bothersome!
