Phone number ☎️ 01865921518 👆 is reported as a persistent and unsolicited caller primarily linked to timeshare recovery scams, often targeting individuals with promises of recovering lost funds for a fee, which many users have identified as deceptive. The callers frequently refuse to provide clear information about fees or the organisation they represent, sometimes falsely claiming affiliation with an ombudsman. Recipients commonly refuse engagement, block the number, or hang up when questioned. Several users note no messages are left, adding to suspicion of scam activity. However, there are some claims of success where users were able to reclaim money, though these are fewer and less consistent. Overall, caution and non-engagement with calls from this number are strongly recommended.

Called again today, 13/9/24, by a woman who said her name was Sarah. This isn’t the first time. I just ended the call straight away. A while back, she rang about setting up a Zoom chat to help with getting money back from a timeshare scam, but I wasn’t interested then.

Got a call again from someone at Consumer Intelligence Service about getting back timeshare fees. She claimed she'd spoke to me about this a year back. I told her to remove my number from their list. Obviously, that didn’t happen. The woman was really insistent. I just ended the call.

Got another one of those timeshare refund scams again. They just want a little payment first, promising you'll get back thousands... it's the usual rubbish. I’ve blocked the number straight away.

I recently received a rather dubious call regarding some timeshare scheme, claiming they could reimburse me entirely on a no win, no fee basis. However, when I pressed for details about the fees that would apply in the event of a victory, they were decidedly evasive. It felt like they were dancing around the topic and dodging any specifics I requested. Normally, I'd be rather blunt with such callers, but they employed a very courteous lady, which I found to be a rather clever ruse. It's quite clear this whole thing is simply a scam.

Didnt pick up and no voicemail left, so after seeing the other comments I just went ahead and blocked the number.

Got a call from some organisation about a timeshare refund, but when I tried to call back the number, it just went to voicemail for “The Consumer Integrity Service.” Definitely put them on my blocked list.

Got a call from someone purporting to be from the ombudsman, though they couldn't specify which one. They then shifted to saying they were involved in timeshare recovery. I instantly recognised the voice from previous scam calls I'd received from assorted numbers! This cold caller is clearly flouting the rules set by the Telephone Preference Service!

Got a call from a number I didn't recognise so I just ignored it. Since they didn’t leave any voicemail, I decided to block the number straight away.

Got a call from someone saying they were the ombudsman, but when I asked which one, they couldn’t tell me. Then they switched it up and said they were with timeshare recovery. The voice sounded super familiar - turns out it’s the same person from loads of other scam calls from different phone numbers!

Sorry, I’ve got nothing on this number when it comes to chatting. My answerphone clearly says I don’t take marketing calls, but real callers can leave a message. What’s odd is that during the first of two calls, I could hear breathing and background noise, yet they never said a word. They called again just a few minutes later and then just hung up. To me, if they're not leaving a message, that’s a red flag for scammers. I don’t bother returning calls from unknown numbers, especially since I’m registered with TPS.

Got a full Judicial review claim through from the FOS and it sided with the clients. Shows that taking time to listen really pays off here.

I got in touch with someone from this number and just like they said, the bank has since returned my money.

That message in green underneath is clearly bogus. It's a total fib from some dodgy scammer. Best to just ignore any calls coming from this number. If you can, text 7726 to report it.

I tried getting my money back from Timeshare Recover but it was pointless. The lady got annoyed when I started asking her stuff and just ended the call.
