Earlier today, I received a dubious call that seemed to come from ‘BT’. It featured an automated voice, thick with an American accent, claiming that our internet security had been breached and urging us to press 1 for further instructions. Not wanting to get drawn into anything dodgy, I swiftly hung up. Interestingly, the same number, 01002366441, had pinged my phone earlier this morning as well.
