My landline has been getting repeated calls from a recorded message saying I supposedly bought an iPhone 8 or iPad through Amazon and that my account has been charged around £399. It then tells me if I didn’t make this purchase to press 1 or some number. This kind of thing is really risky, particularly for older folks who might be tricked into giving away their personal details or bank info.
