Please don’t respond to this, but I’ve received calls from this number as well as a bunch of other dodgy ones. It’s a bit unnerving, really, as it seems that certain individuals are capable of breaching phone security so easily. Quite strange, isn’t it? Just curious, do you reckon these issues are more prevalent with mobiles or traditional landlines?

We've been getting calls from this number repeatedly, yet we never share our number unless we have someone else's in exchange. It's baffling because we don't know who it could be. The timing of these calls is rather peculiar as well, with them often coming through at strange hours, like just before eight in the evening.

This number has been incessantly calling my girlfriend, ringing her three or four times each day, and it's really beginning to get on her nerves! Honestly, don’t they have anything more worthwhile to occupy their time? Watch out, folks! This turned out to be a total scam. They start off with a sappy message expressing their gratitude for your support in the past, tossing in a load of sentimental nonsense about sending a certificate to acknowledge your contributions. But then, they swiftly pivot to the real agenda-sucking you dry for more cash this year. They ask what you might pitch in and then try to worm your credit card information out of you. Absolutely not, Pedro! Not falling for that!

Last night, we received a call from this number, but as soon as we picked up, all we got was silence. It's a typical cold-calling tactic, isn't it? Clearly, some automated system is dialling every possible number, and then connecting you to an operator whenever someone answers. The only trouble is, they've not got their act together fast enough! Like many others have mentioned here, we checked the number with 1471 just to see if it was anything significant. I'm grateful we came across the warnings, and we really hope these callers leave us alone. However, it seems all too likely they’ll be back at it soon.
