Got a call from First4Legal saying something about damage to my car, but when I told them I own a few cars, they couldn’t say which one they meant. I asked nicely for them to take my number off their list since it was obviously a cold call, and then they just hung up on me.

Some bloke rang me, saying I’d been in an accident. I said I just stumbled rushing to pick up and ended up breaking a fingernail. Wondering if that counts as neglect or something you could sue for. Then I started asking daft stuff like why zebras have stripes instead of spots, just messing about. After like 8 tries to get me to stop chatting, he finally snapped, said I wasn’t being serious and hung up. Blocked him straight away after that!

Got a call from First4Legal. When I first picked up, I said I hadn’t been in any crash and the lady said she’d remove me from their list. They rang again today but I didn’t bother answering. Sounds like they’re using the name of a company that’s been dissolved, which I’m pretty sure isn’t allowed.

Regarding claims for accidents, I’ll share my experience. I don’t actually drive, which I reckon the callers have no clue about. I often like to have a bit of fun with them and joke, "Oh yes, I was out on the lash and crashed - totally unfair to take my car when it was the other chap’s fault!" They usually hang up quite abruptly, bless them! I used to be pestered by those calls almost daily, but they’ve dwindled a bit since I started spinning that yarn - can’t say I blame them for not wanting to engage further, just in case there’s a shred of truth in it!

I keep getting pestered by this number that rings me incessantly, usually a couple of times daily on my mobile phone. My digits are exclusively reserved for family and mates, and I’ve never shared them publicly. I tend to ignore calls from numbers I don't recognise, but this is really starting to irritate me to no end! The calls can come through at any hour between half eight in the morning and eleven at night. Struggling to locate a way to block these calls on my Samsung - it's quite frustrating!

Got a call from First4Legal saying I was in a Road Traffic Accident. When I asked how they got my info, they said I had 'opted in' sometime before. I’m so tired of these companies. They deserve a massive fine and to be shut down, but apparently, according to Companies House, they’ve already been dissolved!

No idea who called, I’m in Spain so maybe they hung up to avoid international charges as it cut off right when I picked up. I looked up the number and it turns out they’re some sort of accident claim company/ambulance chasers. Shame, would’ve liked to keep them on the line a bit longer! 😂

Sounds like a car crash scam. I told her I was TPS registered and asked her to take me off their list. She said ‘sure’ but then wanted to ask me some stuff, including if I’d ever had a workplace accident. I just told her to jog on. What a scammer.
