My mum got a call from some pushy bloke claiming she’d taken out insurance on her telly, which is ancient anyway, so no way she did that. He kept ringing for a couple of days, even knew her bank details and threatened to take the cash straight from her account. Proper pest!

On the 9th of August last year, a chap named Leroy rang me up claiming to be from Homeserve, insisting that it was time to renew our insurance policy. I promptly called him out as a scammer and ended the call.
