This number kept ringing me and the person on the other end started shouting and making threats, proper unpleasant experience.

Got a call about checking over my policy with Legal and General, but I don’t have any policy with them at all. The caller said £18 gets taken out of my bank every month. I told them I’m certain that’s not true, and then they just said alright and that they’d remove me from their system. Feels dodgy to me. I can’t see why my details would even be on their records in the first place.

some bloke rang saying he was from my life insurance, saying he wanted to see if he could offer me a cheaper deal. he asked me how much i pay every month. i told him surely he’d have that info if he’s supposedly looking at my account? he then said if i didn’t tell him, he couldn’t verify who i was. he didn’t give me anything that proved he was actually from my insurer. when i wouldn’t confirm my monthly payment, he tried to scare me by saying he’d close my account. i told him i'd rather that than getting ripped off. have a great day, muppet.
