Got a call from a number I didn’t recognise, didn’t pick up and just blocked it afterwards.

I got a call from someone using a made-up name like “Mr Simons” and a bogus postcode that's actually from my local area. They were trying to push some services on me. I asked them straight up to take me off their calling list. Annoying telemarketer, definitely just cold calling. Best to just block and ignore.

Had a call from someone saying they were from eco systems. I mentioned we’re on the TPS list if he was ringing to sell anything. He claimed they do a TPS check and asked if I’d renewed it since it’s only valid for a year. Sounds dodgy to me! Just looked on the BT site and once you’re on the register, it stays on for good!

oh great, another annoying call this tuesday morning, they tried pushing some energy deal on me. told 'em i wasn't interested and just hung up straight away.

Picked up the phone but nobody said a word, total waste of time.

I tried ringing back by putting 141 in front of the number to keep mine private, but it just went to an answerphone for something like eco spraying systems. They said nobody was free to answer at the moment. I decided to block it.

This is the second time this week they've called but ended the call just before I managed to get to it, and they never left a message on my voicemail either. I don’t recognise anyone from the Oxford region that’d be ringing me.
