So I got a call earlier on with the exact same scary sort of American accent warning like what’s been mentioned above. Didn’t really think it was real but I rang back anyway and told them I’d got this dodgy message supposedly from HMRC. Was going to try and get more info but then I just started giggling out of nowhere. When he noticed and asked why I was laughing, I told him I wasn’t buying it and that it was all just a load of rubbish. Then he told me I could just hang up now. What a muppet!
