I told him that couldn’t be right, as I don’t owe a penny to anyone. After a pause, he just went ‘alright’ and ended the call.

Got calls from a company called Phone House pushing their phone deals. I told them I wasn't interested and asked them to stop calling. Still, they kept ringing me up. Ended up reporting them for being annoying telemarketers.

Like others have pointed out, this is one of those numbers that link text messages to landline calls through an audio relay. Someone must have messaged your landline. Just double check you never give out your landline where personal info is involved. I once gave my landline on a service instead of my phone and got a robotic voice call confirming things.
