I just had a rather peculiar phone call where the caller requested the name of a homeowner that I didn't recognise. Then, they asked if I lived in the OX16 postcode, to which I firmly replied no, twice! To my surprise, the woman on the other end simply hung up. It seems like the Telephone Preference Service is not doing its job, especially since I'm on the electoral roll. It’s quite baffling why these unsolicited callers continue to reach out when I've clearly opted out!
