Scam alert! They called saying they were from Talk Talk, claiming there was a problem with my Talk Talk internet. The accent sounded South Asian (not an issue by itself), but they insisted they were working from some fake office in London. They wanted me to visit a wc3 validation site to "demonstrate the problem," but when I played along and wasted some time, they lost interest and ended up disconnecting. I don’t even have Talk Talk broadband, so it was obviously a con.

SCAM ALERT. Got a call from someone supposedly working for Talk Talk, saying there was a problem with my Talk Talk internet. I played along for a bit but once I started stalling, they lost interest and just ended the call. I don’t even have Talk Talk broadband, so it was obviously a dodgy scam attempt.
