Got a call today from someone asking for a name I don’t recognise at all. When I asked who was calling, they just hung up straight away. I’m on the TPS register, so I’m guessing the person they’re after might be the previous owner of this number. Maybe they shared it or it ended up on one of those annoying spam lists that keep getting passed around. Been happening a few times now with the same name.

Keeps ringing then hangs up-it's quite irksome how they persist in calling. Have had enough of it, so I've gone ahead and blocked the number.

Didn't pick up cos I had no idea who it was. They didn’t leave a voicemail or anything. I looked the number up and it turned out to be some sort of cold call about RTA claims or something like that.

I got a call from a young woman claiming I'd just been in a car crash. When I asked who she was and how she had my number, she just hung up on me straight away.

This number rang me earlier and when I picked up, I said my name. Surprisingly, they said my full name back to me, like they already knew who I was. Then as soon as I said yes, they just ended the call. Quite weird!
