I got a robocall saying my TalkTalk would be cut off unless I chose to speak to someone by pressing 1 or ended the service by pressing 2. I just kept quiet, and after a moment, the call ended on its own. Honestly, don’t press anything or pick up if you get this call.

i got a recorded call pretending to be from bt saying my contract would end TODAY and i needed to press 1 to talk to an agent - obviously i didn’t bother. the funny thing is, i’m not even a bt customer! these calls keep coming, maybe 3 or 4 times already. i’ve reported them to the ico now.

Same thing happened to me, no button pressing on my part, it just cut off. I've blocked the number straight away on my phone. Definitely feels like a scam. The weird part is, I've just sorted out a new deal with TalkTalk, so getting this call now is a bit fishy. Makes me wonder if they've got hold of my info from somewhere. Maybe there's been a data breach?
