Received a call from someone claiming to be with a debt management team, supposedly reaching out to discuss a government scheme that could assist me in managing my debts, which they implied I had. It felt rather dodgy-definitely a scam! The call seemed to originate from a call centre of some nature.

They claimed to be part of some government debt help program, but when I asked simple questions about how they found my number, they just couldn’t give me any clear answers.
