I received a call from a lady who sounded Indian but had a Scottish accent. She mentioned her company started with a 'v', though I couldn't quite catch it clearly. She insisted she wasn't trying to sell me anything and simply wanted to ask me three questions. That's when I decided to end the call.

Some woman who said her name was ivy from verso group called me. I just ended the call and looked them up online. Turns out they’re some kind of data collecting firm and got fined by the regulator. Got a call from The Verso Group, saying they were based in Scotland but it was clear it was an Indian call centre. They asked me to verify my address, which was my old one I left over 10 years ago. Then they tried to get me to update my info. When I looked them up, they seem to be involved in power generation or something. Definitely felt like a scam, so I blocked the number.
