I picked up the phone and heard a posh English voice claiming to be from BT, saying there'd been some dodgy activity on my computer or internet and wanted me to press 1 to sort it out. I didn’t go along with it. Later, after some digging, I saw the number was from Ardgay in the Scottish Highlands, which I reckon scammers might be using. I've blocked the number now and would recommend anyone else to do likewise.
