Early this morning, we got a call from 01863 614024 that woke us up, but the caller just hung up before we could answer. Honestly, even if you were genuine, you probably wouldn’t get a very friendly reply from us.

This number 01863614024 called me saying they were from BT and told me my router was hacked cause of some dodgy activity. They asked to get into my phone to check the internet speed, which sounded dodgy to me. Definitely don't trust it, it's just a scam trying to grab your info.

This morning, precisely at half nine, I received a call that left me quite baffled. The caller was offering a supposed refund of £799 for an iPhone 11, which, I might add, I've neither purchased nor laid eyes on from Amazon. It’s clearly a ruse aiming to fish for your banking or card info under the guise of a 'refund'. I attempted to ring them back, but the line wouldn’t connect-it was just a dead end. I urge everyone to steer clear of such calls and never disclose any personal information. It’s definitely not worth the risk!

So I got a call from someone claiming to be BT, saying my IP address was at risk. I found it both funny and a bit worrying. Since I work as an internet troubleshooter, I ran a quick check on my laptop and found the number actually belongs to a private home in Ardgay, Scotland.

I didn't quite catch the name of the woman who called, nor did I glean her location. When I requested her to repeat herself, she launched into quite the spiel about how her records indicated that our Internet connection was sluggish. However, she refused to disclose where she obtained this information. I expressed my disinterest in her sales pitch, but she continued her relentless chatter. Eventually, I chose to hang up. It's frustrating to be left in the dark, but occasionally, that seems to be the best course of action.

So, I've been getting calls from numbers that look a lot like 01863 614###, at least 3 times in the last couple days. I looked them up online and saw plenty of posts like this one saying they're dodgy. I just don’t pick up anymore. Honestly, can't wait till the day we track these callers down and return the favour by keeping them on the line for a bit!

I received a rather dubious message claiming that my Amazon Prime subscription renewal was set to cost me £79.99. I can’t shake the feeling that this is a scam. When I tried to clarify with the so-called ‘account manager’, the moment I mentioned my monthly subscription, they abruptly cut off the call! It really wound me up, so I decided to ring the number again, fully aware they were trying to pull a fast one. Surprise, surprise, the line wouldn't accept incoming calls! Please don’t be fooled by this lot; they’re just out to siphon off your hard-earned cash. Make sure to block them!
