Had a call from this number at a rather early hour, 07:15 to be exact. Some bloke on the other end was going on about how we could get an upgrade for our internet and save a few quid on our broadband bills. It seems like déjà vu because we had a similar call last night and another one the week before. We simply hung up, but honestly, it’s getting a bit tiresome now.

So I just heard that Ofcom might actually cut off my phone line due to some compulsory updates related to broadband. Not sure what to make of it yet.

On the morning of February 25, 2019, around half past eight, I received a call from the number mentioned. At the ripe age of 89, I'm not keen on these bothersome calls. It's quite unnecessary at my stage in life.

I received a rather concerning call purportedly from 'Ofcom' regarding some supposed broadband enhancements. The chap claimed that if action wasn't taken today, I could face a loss of both phone and internet services within a mere 48 hours. He even mentioned my CLS number, which I assume is meant to be the Customer Licence Security Identification - though I’m unsure if that’s genuine or not. He insisted I check the number online to confirm its validity, promising he could then facilitate the necessary updates on all my devices: computers, laptops, tablets, landlines, and mobiles. According to him, this upgrade would eliminate those pesky nuisance calls and spam. He was quite relentless, phoning back multiple times with mounting frustration... as it stands, I’m on the verge of being disconnected. We’ll see how this pans out!
