There was this robot voice claiming to be from BT telling me my number had been compromised and warning me not to do any online banking until they sorted it out. They then provided an 0800 number to ring back, but I didn’t write it down since I didn’t have a pen to hand. They also said to press 9 straight away, sounding all official and bossy about it.
