Got a call from a woman with an Asian accent claiming she was from TalkTalk. She said my laptop was full of viruses and needed fixing. Then she asked me to download TeamViewer to sort it out. I hung up straight away since I’ve been wise to this trick for ages.

Oi, scammers, buzz off from my phone!

i got an automated call saying my talktalk broadband was about to be cut off. funny thing is, earlier today i actually chatted with talktalk about something else, and mentioned that i’m getting loads of calls telling me about slow service and stuff. they promised they wouldn’t ring me up about that and said they’d only get in touch the way we agreed on.
