Got a call from 01862569226, sounded like some dodgy call centre abroad pretending to be from 02. They asked if I wanted to switch my contract but as soon as I said I already have a mobile, the lady just hung up. I tried to get her name and where exactly she was calling from, but no chance. Pretty sure genuine 02 wouldn’t just cut off like that. These scammers must think we’re total mugs.

Got a couple of calls earlier today from 01862569226, which apparently comes from Tain, Scotland? Did a bit of digging and found out the caller's using VSPN technology to mask where they're actually calling from. While I was looking into it, they called again, but this time it went straight to voicemail and all I got was around half a minute of silence before they hung up. Definitely spam!
