What a con! I received a call claiming my internet service was at risk of being cut off due to suspicious activity from a foreign IP address - they pretended to be from BT. They tried to coax me into accessing my computer to “resolve” the issue. Naturally, I didn’t comply; instead, I contacted BT directly, and they assured me it wasn’t them at all-just a phishing attempt.
