This number was seriously annoying me, ringing nonstop like 6 times plus every single day. Then I thought about a trick my mother-in-law once told me. I’d pick up the phone, but instead of saying anything, I’d just set it down on the desk and stay silent for at least 5 minutes. Afterwards, I’d hang up, leaving their line busy and making them waste their credit! Took a day or two but those calls finally stopped. Might be worth giving it a go.

If you get an ad promising £100 to be Aldi’s secret shopper, best to just ignore it. After putting in your details, you get flooded with adverts for all sorts of unrelated stuff. I accidentally ticked a box to get contacted, and then couldn’t untick it no matter what I did. Going back a page didn’t help, and ever since, mine has been bombarded with calls from them. I’ve blocked their numbers on my phone but know they’re still trying because the TU app on my iPad picks up every blocked call attempt. It’s well annoying!

This isn’t a firm based in the Orkney Islands at all - they’re just using clever internet stuff to show strange numbers hoping you’ll answer. If Niagara Therapy normally goes about things like this, I wouldn’t say they’re very trustworthy. Their website claims they’re ISO certified, but a proper company would usually display their certificate clearly. You won’t find it anywhere on Niagara Therapy’s site.
