I thought it was a local number (01856) calling, so I picked up, only to get some bloke from a call centre asking about my television - he even knew the brand! Turns out the warranty had expired. A couple of days earlier, I’d unknowingly answered some of the same questions from a polite guy with an Asian accent. It’s mad how quickly these things spread once your info’s out there. Honestly, I wasn’t happy at all and made sure to tell him exactly that.
