This lot keep ringing from all sorts of numbers at all hours, then hang up as soon as you answer. A few days after, you get a call where you can hear that crappy office noise in the background, like some call centre. They ask if you’ve been getting annoying calls, and I usually just say, “besides yours?” and they immediately disconnect. Definitely trying to trick you into giving them money or your info for shady reasons. They’re either shameless or just desperate, but it’s awful because someone less careful will probably fall for it.
