I got a call from a woman with a South Asian accent who said she could help me block marketing scam calls. She told me if I gave some personal info, they’d send me some kind of gadget to plug into my phone that would stop these annoying calls. She was quite polite, but when I asked about the meaning of words like 'fraud' and 'theft', she acted like she didn’t understand them, which felt really suspicious. Honestly, you can’t trust these kinds of calls at all.
