My phone buzzed just after 9 in the morning. As soon as I picked up, all I got was a bunch of long beeps, no one said a word. I ended the call but then it started ringing over and over, about half a dozen times. I ended up phoning my neighbour to see if her line worked normally. Turns out, she’d been getting the exact same annoying calls the day before. Once I finally hung up, the calls stopped completely.
