My phone showed a warning about possible fraud when this number called, so I just let it ring out until whoever it was gave up and ended the call!

Got a call from someone claiming they were with car phoneware house and wanted to chat about my mobile. I mentioned I'm on the TPS and asked why they called if that's the case, and they said the rules don’t affect them. Then I asked where they got my number from, and they just ended the call.

Looks like these scammers have switched things up, now using this different number instead of 01855 729307. They still don’t leave any messages though, which is a bit sketchy. Definitely dodgy stuff.

I usually ignore calls from numbers I don’t recognise because loads of spammy people ring up trying to con you out of your cash. There’s already a bunch of comments here saying the same, so I’m pretty sure it’s just another one of those scams.

Got a call from a guy speaking with an Indian accent, trying to sell me a 25% discount on EE. I said fine. Then he wanted to know my monthly spend. I told him he should already know that since he's from EE and offering the deal. After that, he just cut the call.

Got a call from 01855 729349 saying they were from Carphone Warehouse and pushing some iPhone 14 offer. I’d just paid for a phone without a contract so I told them no thanks and ended the call. After that, they kept ringing me back, about six times, from different numbers like 729363, 729390, and 729307, all of which are from Ballachulish in Scotland. Quite annoying really.
